Call Center Operator Needed-Arabic Speaking (San Diego, CA-City Heights)

La Maestra Community Health Centers is seeking an Arabic Speaking Call Center Operator. The candidate will greet and handle inquiries and appointments via telephone in a courteous and timely manner. The Call Center Operator is to have a sincere interest in the organization’s mission, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, value attention to detail, and be able to handle a large volume of calls.

Responsibilities (not limited to):
• Answers accurate data for each patient via telephone; make appointments; provide
information on Clinic operations.
• Explain payment options and arrange for payment according to sliding fee scale.
• Become and remain familiar with the guidelines and standards of government programs
the clinic is engaged in and patients’ use, in paying for services. Become and refrain familiar with common private insurance company guidelines and standards.
• Verify insurance eligibility prior to scheduling an appointment
• Must meet department’s productivity requirements.
• Check voicemails daily, respond accordingly.
• Attend staff meeting
• Other functions as requested by the supervisor
• Follow up on the no show patients.
• Call the next day patients to remind them of appointment.
• One third of call center operator performance includes patient satisfaction levels.
o Performance appraisal will include the level of patient satisfaction and accuracy of processing encounters over the phone situations.
• Provide EXCELLENT customer service to callers.

Qualifications:
***MUST speak Arabic***
• 1-2 years experience front desk, customer service or call center experience in a community health center setting.
• High School Diploma/GED
